This piece started by inviting the artists I was working alongside to join me in mark-making on the blank canvas by signing their names in marker on the canvas. One by one each person joined in the collective experience and we laughed and talked about how fun it is to create and try new things.
I next added layers of glazes and used various tools to create textures and apply paint.
Take a close look and you can see our signatures peeking through.
